Our first beach trip this year(2006)

It is warm enough for the beach! We headed out for a few hours Sunday to play in the sand. The water was chilly but that didn't stop us from dipping in our toes. Of course that meant that Morgan and Madison left soaked! We even got to stop for icecream on the way home!

There were lots of birds flying around, especially seagulls and pelicans!

Morgan and Madison played together building sand castles! Then they found more kids to play with and had a blast.

Hazel finally got to play in the sand!


First she tried hitting the sand..

And then she got her first real "taste" of the beach!

After failing to stop her from ruining her dinner, back up she went to walk along the beach with mommy. We just love that fresh air and all the wonderful sounds of the beach. Very relaxing!

Daddy got some picture of the sunset. A wonderful end to a wonderful day!

Morgan's 5th Birthday Party

WOW! Morgan is FIVE years old. Here she is all dressed up in her new dress.

We had a birthday party and some of Morgan's school friends got to come.

Mom made heart shaped cupcakes. All of the kids got to decorate them with icing, sprinkles, marshmallows and different kinds of candy. Yummy!

Morgan got lots of wonderful presents.

Madison wanted to help open the one she got for her.

Not everyone could stay awake for all of the fun.... Hazel had way too much excitement for one day.

Christmas 2005

This year Nana came for Christmas! Santa brought lots of stuff(so did Nana)
Here we are all dressed up!

We used all of those yummy cookies we made to decorate our tree, the tree is bare already now!

Morgan and Madison Decorated their own stockings! Mommy did Hazel's this year.

Nana got us all new pjs!

And then we went to work on all of those presents!

Morgan and Madison got a Star Station, roller skates for over their shoes and a new dvd/vcr for their room(from Nana) They got toys and games and clothes and books! And Barbie's! They each got a Barbie case and 2 Barbie dolls. Morgan got a Barbie jeep and Madison got a pegasus, from Barbie's Magic of Pegasus movie.
Bubby got them both new beds! They have drawers under them to put clothes and toys.
They also each got a disposable camera and had a blast taking pictures of everyone.
Hazel had lots of fun trying to eat the wrapping paper.

We had a yummy Christmas dinner and they girls tried out their rollerblades. Then everyone wathced Polar Express.

It was a very good Christmas!

Suprise visit!!

Guess what daddy brought us for Christmas today? NANA!!! We were all so suprised! She is staying for Christmas with us!! We went to see lights tonight and then we took Nana to see our new house that is being built

Hazel's tooth

Hazel got a new tooth on saturday! It is out far enough to feel. Mommy tried to get a picture of it, but all Hazel wanted to do was practice biting with it!

Independant Reading Award

Morgan got this award at school today for being an independant reader! She is reading at a first grade level right now. They want to continue testing her at higher levels now. She also got a balloon, but it flew away. Tomorrow morning she will be on the tv at school!
Mommy, Madison and Hazel all came to school today to see some singing!

Thanksgiving Week

On Tuesday Mommy, Madison and Hazel all went to Morgan's school for Thanksgiving. They sang songs and we all had a Thanksgiving dinner. Madison joined right in with the big kids





Hazel was only interested in eating. First she tried to eat the camera, then she had some mashed potatoes.

Then next day, Madison got her hair cut.


Later that night, Morgan and Mommy went to get their hair trimmed. Then they went out to dinner together. When they got home, everyone was asleep. Even Daddy!

We had Thanksgiving dinner at our house. Daddy's friend Jimmy came too. We had turkey and all kinds of yummy things, even pie and icecream!

We did a lot of playing outside this week, it was so nice out!

Madison's Busy Day

Boy was Madison busy today! First she vacuumed...





Then she fed Hazel...
After that, she helped Mommy bath Hazel and get her dressed...













And then she was so tired she fell right to sleep...

Hazel's doctor appointment

Hazel had a check up today for her 4 month shots. She is 5 months old, just a little behind on the shots. Hazel is now 20lbs and 26.5" long. She had to get fours shots and they did her heel stick again. They did not get a good enough sample the first two times. She is doing good with rolling and getting around, she is also starting to support herself with one hand to sit up. Hazel also got some mail today!
This is a Baby Hawk mei tai. The inside is lined with orange minkee fabric, which is very soft. She loved it today, since she was so cranky from the shots and did not want put down.


She also got three new diapers from Muttaqin Baby today. The have velour inside. Very nice!
