Thanksgiving Week

On Tuesday Mommy, Madison and Hazel all went to Morgan's school for Thanksgiving. They sang songs and we all had a Thanksgiving dinner. Madison joined right in with the big kids

Hazel was only interested in eating. First she tried to eat the camera, then she had some mashed potatoes.

Then next day, Madison got her hair cut.

Later that night, Morgan and Mommy went to get their hair trimmed. Then they went out to dinner together. When they got home, everyone was asleep. Even Daddy!

We had Thanksgiving dinner at our house. Daddy's friend Jimmy came too. We had turkey and all kinds of yummy things, even pie and icecream!

We did a lot of playing outside this week, it was so nice out!

Hazel's doctor appointment

Hazel had a check up today for her 4 month shots. She is 5 months old, just a little behind on the shots. Hazel is now 20lbs and 26.5" long. She had to get fours shots and they did her heel stick again. They did not get a good enough sample the first two times. She is doing good with rolling and getting around, she is also starting to support herself with one hand to sit up. Hazel also got some mail today!
This is a Baby Hawk mei tai. The inside is lined with orange minkee fabric, which is very soft. She loved it today, since she was so cranky from the shots and did not want put down.

She also got three new diapers from Muttaqin Baby today. The have velour inside. Very nice!

Lowe's

Yesterday Morgan's classmates were getting together at Lowe's to make turkey recipe boxes. Daddy couldn't leave work so Mommy took all 3 girls. Madison got to make a box too. They got to use a hammer and nails to put them together. They both did an excellent job. Somehow Hazel fell asleep in her sling, even with tons of kids pounding on hammers. We forgot to bring the camera with us, but we have pictures of them finished. Next we are going to paint them.

Frog Hunting

Morgan caught a frog!

They put him in a bucket.

Madison held him too!
Then he jumped on her dress! (yes the same one from Halloween)

Coloring Diapers

Morgan was off of school yesterday. Mommy bought a tye dye kit and we dyed some of Hazel's diapers. It was very fun and messy too. Our hands are stained pretty colors.

Here are 2 Morgan did, one is tye dyed and the other she squirted color all over!

This one is red white and blue!

Friday night out

Tonight we went to Buddy Freddy's buffet for dinner. Madison ate ALOT of ham, then ice cream of course. Hazel was looking good in her little purple dress with matching diaper. Morgan's favorite tonight was the shrimp, she loves them. For desert she had cheesecake with sprinkles and a cherry on top.

Trick or Treat

Tonight we all went Trick or Treating around the neighborhood. Morgan and Madison both ended up tired and in the stroller, and mommy ended up wearing Hazel in the sling. We got a lot of candy! Everyone had a few pieces before bed, and Madison snuck some gum. She was told "you can't swallow gum" so of course she swallowed it and said "see, yes I can." There was another little girl dressed as Cinderella, but Morgan was the only firefighter. Everyone kept asking if she was putting out any fires, and she kept laughing every time. They had a great time and all fell fast asleep!

Beach Time!

Today Mommy took Morgan and Madison to the beach. They had so much fun splashing and playing in the water.

Right away they found some other kids to play with. They made a sandcastle together.

Then we made a sea monster out of sand and seaweed. His eyes were made out of sea shells and he had fangs from drift wood and sea shell hands.

Then we made a haunted mountain for the seaweed monster to live in. Morgan dripped wet sand all over it to make it look like that!

Since seaweed monsters and their haunted mountains are dangerous and scary, they had to be destroyed!

Halloween Party

Last night we went to a Halloween party for the company Tim works for. The girls got scared of the haunted house and daddy had to carry both of them! And Hazel had a complete meltdown when Bubby handed her to a stranger. She has been screaming anytime a strange man even looks at her, but this time it was a woman. She has a little bit of stranger anxiety, the poor thing just screams and cries.

Here is Madison as Cinderella and Morgan the Firefighter.

Here is Madison's Glass slipper and the ashes on Morgan's face.

This bounce house had a slide too. The girls loved it!

But jumping is hard work!

Morgan says that they had very much fun. She says she had more fun than Madison.
Here she is playing a game, and with her prize....a fish!

Not to be outdone, Madison gets a fish too!

And Hazel was just trying to figure out why everyone is so crazy!

Candles

Here is some of the candles we were making today. These are almost ready to come out of the molds. Posted by Picasa

Candle making

Morgan was off school again today and there will be no school until at least Monday, due to hurricane Wilma. We made some candles today. All Madison wants to do is blow them out!
Hazel got some new diapers today from Robin's Fanny Fluff, they are so nice. Here is a link to see all of her diapers, http://hfitz5051dipes.shutterfly.com/action/

I don't know what else we can do to keep these kids busy! All they do is fight, I need more ways to entertain them.

Starting out

The girls and I are starting this blog for them to record all of the things they want to remember.
